What's Up ???Hello There, Well another episode in the life of me... I have this friend that I am real fond of , No not in LOVE I like a lot he wants more than I am willing to give ..And I don't want to hurt his feelings but there is no future for the two of us I'm off into someone else and I hope that it works out but as in any relationship who knows .....Have you ever had a friend that you just admired so much for the way that they are but because of the things going on in your lives there is just no way anything could ever happen that you would be together ....Your destinys are headed in different directions. Well I have a fella that I share time and space with he is not the man I admire so much but he is an awesome person ..Yes I have even started to love him ! Did not want that to happen how do I stop it...I had really made up my mind that it would not happen for me again ..And now as I try to see where it is going I feel that it is wrong for me with this person. Wow had to get this far into my life to get this damm confussed what a trip.. When Leon was alive it was so easy to go through the day and be happy with all that was in my life..Now being alone is a nightmare in its self.. I hate being by myself and have no way to really solve the problem. Well thats not true but I do not like the twists and turns I would have to go through..I thought being a teenager was a problem in my life, being and adult is the hard part your life changes so fast and you have no idea what to do about it or how to fix it,,, Time to start ANEW It has been brought to my attention that I need to let go of the past and start to LIVE my LIFE in the NOW ...Put the photos up and share with someone that can share back or return the Love that I have to give. I am not sure that I know how to love anymore. I have someone in my life that I am in LIKE WITH he makes me smile he makes me think ! I have been seeing this MAN for over aweek now and he really makes me HAPPY. I enjoy spending time with him..I love to feel him next to me to hear his heart beat to listen to his breath. it has been such along time for me to have feelings for anyone. Where is it going I have no idea may no where but what ever I will share my culture and my way with him for as long as he wants and then if he moves on ...HEY I THANK GOD FOR THE TIME I WAS BLESSED TO SPEND WITH THIS SPECIAL SPECIAL PERSON........The LORD has been good to me I have been Blessed with great health and a good job he gives me all that I need or could ask for . You Know GOD IS ABLE..He gives you what you need ...It my not be all that you want but it is what you need ...Everything in his time ..You know you are as guilty as I we want everythhing now we seem to forget that all is in his TIME...LET HIM GUIDE YOU and all will be good.. I trust him to lead me down the right path and to see to it that life its self is a reward that i thank him for everyday..And the people he has brought into my life are true blessings..New Day A Begining...Hello my friends a new day has begun and life is full of surprises good and bad , but no matter what may happen keep a smile and always be thankful for everything that comes your way...I have love in my life that is so powerful I had thought it would never happen again...He keeps me smiling even when things are out of pocket..I thank god for this blessing as i thought it was over for me.. As most of you that have followed me know I celebrate Chinese New Years as I was brought up to do so. So my New Year well start in Febuary on the 7th , The year of the Rat 4706 . Love Hello There !!! Been a while , Sort of lost my want to blog...But I see that I have missed it . So I got my heart broke so felt sorry for myself...But God has made me see that I am an alright person and that I should not let anyone stop me from being myself..I am so thankful for the people in my life that have held me up ...I may have lost someone that I loved very much but life does not stop you keep on breathing, crying, smiling, and someday LOVING once again...I had been so comfortable with the relationship that I had that I stopped being ME that was a DAMM shame ..I tried to please him and not me ...Have you ever been there??? Sure you have sometime in your life...You want to be loved cared for so you settle for the oky dok....You give all of you and you keep nothing for yourself...You must keep a little for yourself.. I guess at this stage in my life I am supposed to be by myself , Do I like it ? no I have a lot to give the right person..I don't think I am to bad to look at of course I have aged but we all do ..I do not look my age but guys my age want ladys 30 or 40...Maybe that is the way for us ladys to go look for younger men...WOW what a concept !!! Between the no cooking and no communication and no love making the guys are really PISSED OFF.......Thought it is time to finish this conversation what we as Ladies are doing is wrong not that any one is going to listen as we have been down this road before..But no one seems to pay attention I guess I am just to old fashioned ....Why is it that I hear the same B___H all the time ...How can you just because you have been with someone for so long just stop doing the home things ??? Ihave to stop this for right now I have a meeting I will continue when I get home..WELL now are you ready ???GUESS WHAT you have to be because here goes.....Once again the guys I work with are on the same old trip.Wives, girlfriends, partners not keeping up thier end of the relationship...Hey, I know what it is like to have a family a job house and to try and make it all work. I guess you have to be willing to give alot of yourself..How do you ration yourself into 18 pieces ?? First you have to remember to try and stay the person he fell in love with..How often do you go to bed so beat you throw on an ugly t shirt crawl into bed and hope and pray your mate just wants to sleep and not make love ?? Hey there are times he feels the same way but you need to take the time to learn when he is just as beat as you...Did he get a kiss at the door ??Did you fix dinner??? House clean, children taken care of ...Everything mellowed out for the evening ??? OR as he walked in the door you started b--ching and moaning about the kids the job just everything and anything ..Nothing cooked you look like the bag lady holes in your shirt. You changed as soon as you got home and he left in the morning before you so you looked the same this morning sure you have alot to do in the morning but get yourself together first get you ready then fix breakfast, your lunches send him off with a smile that his lady looked so good before he left..You get to comfortable in you being lazy ...HE GETS TIRED OF YOU LOOKING LIKE HELL....Come on fix yourself up take a day to do nothing but pamper him and yourself, Let him know how much you still LOVE HIM.....I have been silent for a while so here goes. Men want thier woman to smell good to be attentive to LOOK GOOD for him ..I have told you before there is someone out there will give him 100% and be all that she can be for him. She will pamper him hold him kiss him , she will make him feel like a man all the way PUT YOURSELF IN CHECK.... Stop and look at what you are doing or not doing CHANGE BEFORE IT IS TO LATE..... ??What is in someones mind that really does not care about where they live or if they clean up or not....I am so disenchanted with my Grandsons girlfriend she is out and out just lazy..How can a man put up with someone that nasty and don't tell me he is PW..It can not believe it is so good that you don't care if she,BATHES cleans your house ,cooks does laundry ..I have had it with my situation this young lady could care less..You would think since she pays no rent no gas no phone no electric that she would try and contribute to take care of the house if nothing else..But I come home from work her night gown on the floor in the front room. Dirty diapers on the DRAIN BOARD ..Dirty dishes in the sink all the silver dirty no spoon to even stir my coffee..I work alot to keep my house and pay my bills where do you draw the LINES ???Sure she has two children one of them is my great grandchild three months old on the 30th of September...and the other little boy turned four in march ..She was driving my grandsons car I thought she had a license GUESS WHAT....Car IMPOUNDED 375 dollars later I get it out I let her use it for emergencys she takes total control and guess what still no license So I tell her no license no car ..Then she comes home with the babys in the car HIGH ..she tells me how alert she is when she is high.. Hello if you have ever smoked you already know how alert you are...OOPS car is in my name , She takes the car when ever she wants stays out until 4AM.. Oh !!!forgot all night..Guess who has the baby??? So car is now somewhere else....She crys what am I supposed to do with no car ,,I tell her I gave you FOUR months to get it together and still no license..''Show me a license we will talk ...OH YES INSURANCE a MUST ALSO....The answer I get is I can't pass the test....I need the car to take the baby to the doctor .I need the car to get a job...Hello came home today as I said house nasty ..Look I am no angel I had to grow up just like everyone I admit if pot was legal ,but it is just like booze you need to be aware of your actions and what it does to you...Get high make sure your children are in a safe place not in the car with you driving...HELLO are you stupid ??? Being high you think you know it all...The only thing I can say is I loved my Babys so much that I would not put them at risk because I wanted to get High...Or sleep around ..Yes I got high ..I did not sleep around might have thought about it but I was afraid I might catch something..Came home the house reaks of pot I could have got contact HIGH...We have had this argument before no POT, DOPE, MARY JANE OR WHAT EVER COMES ACROSS YOUR HANDS IN MY HOUSE......NONE!! I want to see them again ..Also tell that someone special be it spouse, child, mother, father, friend, lover, family no matter tell them I LOVE YOU everyday. I have been alone now for three years that my husband passed and eight years since my daughter passed and IT IS LIKE YESTERDAY FOR BOTH OF THEM...You are not supposed to out live your children and my husband and I planned on growing old together. But GOD had something better for them to do.. I would love to know what he has in store for me ...If it is the life I am living I want to know WHY ?? I was not brought up to be alone I was taught how to care for a husband and children..I thought when they left me I would be able to start a new life and grow....But it seems that everyone I meet is so wrapped up in themselves they do not know how to share with another person..I guess most of the people that I have met have been abused in their past relationships and so they prefer to be alone...People in my age range seem to forget that we are getting older, do we really want to spend the rest of our lives alone? We seem to take it for granted that our jobs and the things that we do now are going to complete us laterbut when we no longer have a 9 to 5 or 6 to 2 WHAT ever the hours then what ..I have found my job is just not enough I miss the hugs the smiles even the little spats and then the making up I know that you understand... We need the warmth of another human touch ,we need someone to talk with someone to share the good and bad times that happen in our LIVES. Snuggles , caresses, laughter,passion to hear a heart beat, rythum of our souls as one, someone to love us....Or maybe we just need to LOVE someone..... Love at First SIGHT ?SOMEONE ASKED ..Do I beleive in love at first sight . YES,There is that instant connection that you feel , The warm fuzzies, I have been madly in love with someone that I felt that way about from the very first time we met and spoke face to face , We communicated over the telephone for hours and so I had a good insite as to who he was then when I met him for the first time in person WOW just does not do him justice, His honesty, caring, the way he carries himself is also a total turn on for me...Does he know ?? I think he might but I am not going to throw myself.. If he ever decides that MAYBE JUST MAYBE we could hit it off then and only then I will give my all...I don't know what he may be looking for I am old fashioned and for some that may be a total turn off.. Now you say he must be Brad Pitt, Wil Smith, Bruce Lee all rolled up into one.. Well for me yes he is...But no he is just an average looking man with a wonderful smile , Strong hands , dependable as to what he has to do , and soft eyes that when he looks at you your heart melts . His conversation is open and honest how many men can speak and be honest ??? Well thats something I should not ask but they can all be honest if you let them....No games no drama is what most people look for and men are no exception they want the same thing..I really do not want to be alone for the rest of my life ..I am not going to just settle for anyone as I need to be happy with the choices that I make...But yes I beleive !!! And I have for such along time....LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT ...YES IT HAPPENS.......A glance a smile what can I say it JUST DOES !!!! Answer to Guest .In answer to ja who asked me if I thought I was being to harsh on us LADIES.. No!!!!!! I think that we as ladies need to learn that we have a
responsibility to be all we can to be all women ...We need to learn that there is no reason for us as ladies to be brash or loud like a man ...What happened to you acting like ladies,keep yourself up comb your hair I see ladies out in curlers rags on your heads. HELLO that is just not cool...I am not saying that you need to wear hose and heels all the time ..But you do need to keep yourself up, make up if you wear it hair combed.CLOTHES PRESSED...Smelling good ..Carry yourself with your head held high ..Good manors are always a plus...Example the other night I went to a Jazz club for a nice dinner and music..A young lady at the next table ..No table manors bread in one hand mouth full of food running her mouth,one hand going one way the other hand pushing her hair out of her face (and remember bread in her hand) Talking loud as if she wanted the world to hear her problems. Then she took her shoes off and put her feet in the chair..This was a nice supper club no Mc Donalds not that I would ever do it any where .I felt so sorry for the young man that was with her he looked as though he wanted to crawl under the table..I am not saying it is all ladies but the number is over whelming as to the men who get embarresed by the ladies they are with.. At times you as ladies should never put yourself in the position to be embarrassed let alone your man....Think before you do ....Why don't we go any where any more you never take me any where thats what you hear from most of us, well ask yourself what you acted like and if you carried yourself as a LADY the last time OUT ??.....When he came home what did you look like?? Hair combed looking cute so he wanted to be with you ??? Or were you complaining ,Im so tired the kids did this, I did this ,I did that, I am so tired!!!! Old FASHIONED ?? I received a letter today that made me wonder where the old fashioned morals went??? Or am I just to old FASHIONED, I was taught that a girl is like a piece of fine china and that you need to take care of it..Hey I like SEX as much as the next person BUT I BELEIVE When you give yourself you do so with one special person only!!! NOT AN ARMY...This letter really made me take a look at our young people that are looking for love and being used up..Example here is a girl just turned 21 she had her first child at 17 now she has another one with no means of support no education and really no motivation...You do not make yourself second rate you always carry yourself first class ....Sleeping around do you really have respect for yourself and on top of that will your MAN have any RESPECT for you ??????.I am not saying there is anything wrong with loving someone and being with that person ..What I am saying is if you get angry is it right to go out and make it with someone because you are PISSED...Another example a friend of mine had a party for his other half lost track of her ...He found her out in a car with some guy..Right or wrong ?? Her comment was I am glad you know..Why cause that type of pain.. Hey he is a hell of a nice guy..Did he deserve that ????Don't think so!! I just can"t see why if you are with someone what ever the reason IT SHOULD NOT BE HARD TO BE FAITHFUL and if you can't !!! Dom't mess with that person's feelings they are important also... Let them know you have to keep steppin..Be honest let them know you are not into them don't string them on !!! No one should be cheated on. I have a special person in my life and he is the only one, I don't know if you beleive in love at first sight but I TOOK one look fell head over heels ,if we don't see each other it does not matter I care enough about him that I wait, and he does not even know I am madly in love with him and that I really don't want anyone else for any reason SO I WAIT UNTIL he wants to see me, wrong maybe but I am clean for him and that is important to me..I don't think he even knows how much I care but I am not and will not push,He has to want me because he WANTS ME...Now you are asking what about him ..HELLO we have no type of commitment he can do as he pleases , And when and if we ever make that move I am and will be his only HE WILL NOT HAVE TO EVER WORRY ABOUT WHAT I HAVE DONE AS I AM HIS ONLY.....and thats the way I think ..Wrong who is to say what is right or wrong , I have found each of us is different and we have to live for ourselves...A lady should be alady...Take heed be honest and other things in a relationship but formost HONESTY and COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY TO ALL GOOD THINGS....IN A RELATIONSHIP........ Where Is Home ??I have been in a real strange place in my head....But IT SEEMS as of late I am always in a strange place. I mentioned to a friend that I was thinking of going home by that I mean Seattle ...What he said to me made alot of sense ...What is there for me to still call it home what is the motivation of wanting to return to some place that has so many unhappy memories for me . He told me to blog about it and so per his advice that I trust above all else HERE GOES...What is home for me as I left there when I was 18 and only returned when my mother passed . From 13 to 16 life was hell I had nobody that gave a flying F--K about what I did or where I was . My daddy died when I was 13. His new wife thought there was something crazy in our relationship he was my only rock, she always said that there was something very wrong the term was unnatural in the way we loved each other.From the time I remember being with my dad,fishing, hunting,cooking,cleaning,ironing which I had no taste for,He and I did everything together... He was the one that taught me right from wrong and to this day I live by his rules...I guess maybe a part of me still misses him so much and most of my life I have been searching for that part in my life that is missing, and was thinking that if I went there I could find it..My world was wrapped around my Daddy...I had THOUGHT for so many years the man that raised me was my Father..I was real blown away when just last year I found that my Daddy was not my REAL FATHER. But to me he is and always will be my DADDY it takes more than a sperm donor to make a FATHER...I guess I am looking for some good to come out of going home, but how can that happen??.The person I am seeking is dead has been since 1957 .... MY FRIEND MADE ME SEE SOMETHING AND TO SEE MY REAL HOME IS HERE.. I have no family there no ties any longer..At least here I have my FRIEND Where would I be without him to help me see or to be there for me he is the light in my LIFE ( HEY FRIEND, THANK YOU !! ) SEE I TOLD YOU !! YOU are a big part of my life ..Why is it you see where I can't ? ? YOU MAKE ME TICK !! phones. What happned to Yester year ???WOW...Today is the day MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN, What a special wonderful day for me 9:45 am 1967 Mondays Child... Ten perfect little fingers and toes a perfect little girl..I awoke this morning so full of grief because she is gone ( always in my heart always in my mind not a day goes by that she is not thought about .Yes I know she is with God but you are not supposed to out live your children SHE WOULD BE 40 today..Missing the people you love is one of the things in life that rips you apart..She passed away on Septemeber 7th 1999 its like yesterday the pain is still sharp and so hurtful and I am so alone .. Husband dead also in 2004 two days short of our thirty year anniversery so I guess it is just double what I am feeling right now ..I am trying so very hard to fight back tears and pain HAVE YOU EVER JUST NEEDED TO BE HELD NOTHING ELSE..Someone to say everything will be OK ..someone to share with someone close to hold on to you just to honestly care, Do you know what I mean ???? 3/4 pound beef ( flank Steak ) Marinade:
PREPARATION:Cut the beef across the grain into thin slices approximately 1 1/2 inches long. Place the beef in a bowl, add the marinade ingredients and mix in with chopsticks, adding the cornstarch laWhile the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables. Slice the tomatoes into six equal pieces. Chop the green onions and celery into thin slices along the diagonal. Dice the shallots. Mix together the sauce ingredients and set aside. Heat wok and add oil. When oil is ready, add the beef. Stir-fry until it changes color, turning the meat over once. Remove from the wok and set aside. Clean out the wok and add more oil. Saute the shallots, and add the tomatoes and the celery. Add the sauce. Cover and bring to a boil. Return the beef to the wok and mix together.
